Justin Britt is an American football center for the Houston Texans. He was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football at Missouri. Before making his professional debut, he played for the University of Tennessee-Martin and the University of Missouri. Before playing for the Texans, Britt was with the Seattle Mariners and the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks eventually signed Britt, who was then a free agent.

In the 2017 NFL Draft, justin britt signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Texans. He rehabilitated from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and won the Ed Block Courage Award for his efforts. He is currently an unrestricted free agent and is expected to earn a minimum of $1,500,000. Last year, Britt was a limited option with the Texans after missing five games with a knee injury. He missed most of 2021 with an injury and spent several months on the COVID list. The Texans are in desperate need of a running back to replace the injured Deshaun Watson.

Despite his shortened college career, Britt has shown some flashes of promise. During his first season in the NFL, he struggled to protect the quarterback. In fact, he was one of the worst pass-blocking guards. However, he improved significantly during weeks five through 10 and Weeks 11-13 and improved his run blocking, which led the team to select him in the second round. During the season, Britt started all 16 games at right guard, and he was promoted to the starting lineup. He had a workout with the Kansas City Chiefs in January 2021.

After being recalled from injured reserve, Britt is expected to return this season to the Houston Texans. In his first season, he was the team’s starting center.
